What is a Brow Lift?
Years of facial expressions and environmental effects can cause deep creases and wrinkles on the forehead. Dr. Plant offers four types of incisions for your brow lift in Toronto, Markham, Vaughan and Richmond Hill, Ontario. Incisions can be direct above the eyebrows, at the hairline, behind the hairline (the ‘coronal incision’) or through a pre-existing upper eyelid incision when browlift is combined with a blepharoplasty. Through one of these incisions the forehead skin is lifted, muscle adjustments are made, the brow is repositioned to a more aesthetically pleasing location and (where applicable) the excess skin is removed before closing the incision
Age, gravity and facial movement causes a gradual drooping of the eyebrows and wrinkling of the skin on the forehead above the eyebrows. If you are all too familiar with these issues and are concerned with how these make you look, a brow lift, also known as a forehead lift, may be the answer. Dr. Mathew Plant performs Forehead Lift surgery at his Toronto office that is conveniently located near Richmond Hill and Vaughan, Ontario.
