Why did you choose to have surgery?

I chose to have breast implant removal surgery because my breast implants were bigger than I asked for and were damaging my neck and back. My family doctor examined me and told me they were ruining my posture and the hunching over caused everything to tense up as well causing in headaches. Also laying on my back I couldn’t take a deep breath which caused me to feel light headed.

The surgeon who did my breasts initially put larger implants in to avoid a lift (as I knew nothing about implants I was 21 years old, I went from a solid B cup to a 32 DDD). I was unhappy with them the moment I woke up, I couldn’t breathe, and my incisions actually opened up, and left massive scars. I had them in for 5 years…. and I was originally interested in 400cc and ended up with 540cc but when they were drained it was well over 600cc.

Why did you choose Dr. Plant?

I chose Dr. Plant because he is very caring and kind with his words. I didn’t have to repeat myself what’s so ever he just “ got it”. And his staff is amazing as well.

How do you feel now that you’ve had surgery?

I feel absolutely amazing since having my implants removed, I feel free. I love being “me” again!

What surprised you the most about your experience?

What surprised me the most was forgetting what I already “had”. I love my new “ old breasts”

How would you describe your recovery process?

My recovery process was quick and only slightly discomforting, Netflix and snuggled up did the trick. As the days flew by you wouldn’t even know I had a surgery.

Other than the obvious (removal of implants), what has changed most since surgery?

What has changed is that I am back to my energetic self, I can jump comfortably , all my clothes fit again, and NO more headaches. My headaches went away after getting that heavy weight off my chest because my bra straps were digging into my shoulders and cutting off blood flow also causing neck tension which caused tension headaches.
