Description:
This patient had large, high profile breast implants that she didnt like the appearance of anymore and were made worse by a waterfall deformity that resulted from the stretching of her breast tissues after she breast fed. She also felt that the large implants no longer fit with her active lifestyle and so she wanted them removed and replaced. Dr. Plant performed a staged breast implant revision with an explant and total capsulectomy and concurrent periareolar (donut) mastopexy being the first stage. 3 months later, once the skin had contracted he performed a re-augmentation with smaller, moderate plus profile implants that fit much better with her lifestyle.
