As an outpatient treatment, Juvéderm Ultra will be administered by Dr. Plant in his Toronto office. Dr. Plant may apply an anesthetic cream to your skin before injecting a numbing solution for your comfort. Numbness may persist for 1-2 hours following treatment, after which you can resume normal activity. Some swelling and puffiness is typical, but will diminish over the next day or two.
How long do Juvéderm Ultra treatments last?
After your first treatment, you may experience the smoothing effect of Juvéderm Ultra for up to 4-6 months. Like most facial fillers, Juvéderm Ultra will require follow-up treatments for maintenance to see continued results.
